What did the presidential candidates have said about social security in Ecuador?

Abstract

This article reviews the political positions of the candidates for president of the Republic of Ecuador on social security in the context of the 2021 presidential elections. The work was carried out by reviewing the campaign plans submitted and approved by the National Electoral Council (CNE). Different positions

on the future of social security were found, which leads to a reflection on the proposals, narratives and absences generated from different political spaces.
