Employer’s pensión in Ecuador

Abstract

Employer's retirement in Ecuador has been a subject of much discussion. This article seeks to determine its current validity and to present possible alternatives to it through a brief review of its background, legislation, and criticisms. It concludes that at present it can be counterproductive for workers and stresses the need to consider possible reforms.
