This article shows a vision and journey of history and archaeology, from a look at the
differentiation in the daily task of work, through the importance and relevance of each
of them, until finding a central point of interrelation and connection. undeniable in the
purpose of giving an explanation to previous events, places, people and worldviews.
The advances and modernization in terms of historical and archaeological compilation techniques step by step build a more complete understanding of the explored
territory, in this particular case of Ecuador, thus having at the end of these paragraphs
a detailed list of the most representative archaeological investigations. of the country
divided into Coast, Sierra and Amazonia.
